February/March are the months of Carnival in Switzerland. During Carnival the usually reserved Swiss let go of their inhibitions and dance and revel in the streets! Along with the music, costumes, and confetti – there are several traditional foods to try.
In Ascona (Ticino) the organization “Pro Risotto” (where do I sign up for this!) will hold a risotto and sausage tasting on 28 February.
Sounds like a delicious event not to be missed!
