Stacy was born and raised in Texas, where she developed her love of cooking from her mother, who worked as a bespoke caterer and cooking school owner. Stacy went to university in Boston and later moved to Los Angeles to work in the film industry. In 2005, Stacy moved to Switzerland with her Swiss-American husband Oliver, in order to escape the chaos of Los Angeles and start a family. After several years in Winterthur, Stacy, her husband, and their two children settled in an old house in a small Swiss village, where they chase after their kids, raise a flock of chickens, and create recipes for “Swiss Eats”(www.swisseats.ch). Stacy shares local food events and food culture on her Facebook page “SwissEats” (http://www.facebook.com/Swisseats), and gives caters events and gives cooking courses under the name “Lone Star Kitchen.” (www.lonestarkitchen.ch).
