Stacy Streuli was born and raised in Texas, where she developed her love of cooking from her mother, who worked as a private chef, bespoke caterer and cooking school owner. Stacy went to university in Boston and later moved to Los Angeles to work in the film industry. In 2005, Stacy moved to Switzerland with her Swiss-American husband Oliver, in order to escape the chaos of Los Angeles and start a family. She, her husband, and their two children live in an old house in a tiny Swiss village, where she raises chickens, creates recipes for her website “Swiss Eats”(www.swisseats.ch), shares local food events and food culture on her Facebook page “SwissEats” (http://www.facebook.com/Swisseats), and gives Tex-Mex cooking courses under the name “Lone Star Kitchen.” (www.lonestarkitchen.ch).
